This project explores how fragmented production tools can be unified into a collaborative workspace that improves visibility, coordination, and decision-making across fashion production teams, instead of replacing existing production systems.
Problem Statement
Fashion production information is scattered across multiple platforms, making it difficult for teams to track production progress, identify delays early, and collaborate efficiently.
Apparel brands are shifting toward deeper supplier partnerships, making collaboration and transparency increasingly important throughout the production process. (McKinsey & Company, 2023)
As a result, brands are investing in end-to-end planning, agile supply chains, and digital solutions to improve coordination and visibility. (Business of Fashion, 2024)
Business Consideration
Current enterprise platforms often prioritize comprehensive data over usability, while collaboration tools simplify the interface but lack production context. This creates an opportunity for a dashboard to present complex production information in a focused and intuitive way.
Unified Production Workspace
Create a centralized workspace that synchronizes production data from existing tools into a single interface.
End-to-End Production Visibility
Provide a visual timeline of every production stage, from sample approval to shipment, with real-time status updates.
Enable Proactive Collaboration
Support seamless cross-team communication and surface production issues throughout the workflow.
