SafeBite is a food preparation tool for toddlers in the year of 1 or 2, who are in the high hazardous of food-related choking incidents. Providing the filter in basket shape with appropriate size for toddlers, it supports parents double-check food size to prevent choking hazards for their child.
A child under the age of 5 in the United States dies from food choking incidents every 5 days.
Children aged 12–24 months particularly represent the highest-risk groups for food-related choking, as this stage coincides with the introduction of solid foods.
