A set of multisensory biophilic devices inspired by fire. Stone-like companions with distinct multisensory experiences that work together to ease anxiety and gently anchor the mind. Created for anyone seeking moments of peace, the devices can also support those living with Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Inspired by Fire

Fire has long provided humans with a sense of safety, warmth, and emotional grounding.
By translating its core sensory qualities into therapeutic design, the design aims to reduce fear-based reactions and promote emotional regulation.
Neurological Research
Neurological Research

Individuals with PTSD often exhibit hyperactivity in the amygdala, a region associated with fear processing, and reduced activity in the prefrontal cortex, which plays a key role in emotional regulation. This imbalance may contribute to heightened anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and difficulty returning to a calm state.
